EPV - Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant

The EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant – Living Heritage Company) label is a mark of recognition set up by the French government to distinguish companies with outstanding craftsmanship and industrial know-how.

In 2019, Azaïs-Polito will receive EPV recognition for its excellent craftsmanship.

SIAL Innovation Selection 2018

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION organized as part of SIAL, the leading trade show for food innovation, which takes place in Paris every 2 years.
This competition selects and rewards the most innovative products presented by the show’s exhibitors.

In this context, Mr POLITO creates an innovative speciality for each edition.
This year, two new products were awarded the “SIAL Sélection Innovation” prize for the following specialities:

  • Rillettes of Octopus de Roc
  • Cod Brandade with Summer Truffles

Collège Culinaire de France

The news comes as a Christmas present!

After eight long months, the prestigious committee of the Collège Culinaire de France has recognized the Sétoise cannery as a “PRODUCTEUR ARTISAN DE QUALITE”.
This recognition was unanimously approved by the founding members and referents.

The Collège Culinaire de France, recognized in 2018, in AZAIS-POLITO, the values and the fight which are his and which must be the major qualities of a French craftsman of food trade:
From the excellent quality to the highlighting of its products, the work of promotion of its soil with the sense of the reception, without forgetting the cultural, social and economic realities
coupled with a spirit of responsibility which make the excellence of a trade and which also make the richness of France by taking part in its radiation.

The oldest Conserverie Sétoise is proud to display the famous enamelled plaque on its shop window.

Prix d'Excellence Poissonnier de France

“Les Poissonniers de France” is an association of over 5,000 members from the various trades in the seafood world.
To put the spotlight on local crafts and genuine products, they have created the “Prix d’Excellence”, which they award to companies that highlight the quality of their products and know-how.

The AZAÏS-POLITO cannery was honored to receive this award in recognition of its commitment and quality.
It is the only cannery in the Mediterranean to have been selected.

This competition selects and rewards the most innovative products presented by the show’s exhibitors.

That year, Mr Polito decided to expand the AZAÏS-POLITO range of spreads and Rillettes de la Mer.
For the occasion, he created a “Tatin” style Rillette de Rascasse, the first sweet and sour Rillette de la Mer on the French market.

For the second year running, we have received a “SIAL Sélection Innovation” award for this specialty.

Great Taste Gold Awards 2011

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION organized by the prestigious Fine Food Guild. The annual selection is exhibited each year at the “Speciality Fine Food Fair”
London-England.

For the third time, Azaïs-Polito wins a Great Taste Gold Award “One Star.

Azaïs-Polito is the only company in the region to have won a prize in this competition.

For the third time, our Rouille Sétoise has won the “One Star” award.

Gourmet Experience SIAL 2010

“Gourmet Experience, a space dedicated to rare, precious or original foods!…”

For the first time, SIAL is offering a special area dedicated to exceptional products: gourmet myths, singular or sophisticated foods, original or inspired flavors…

Freely proposed by the show’s exhibitors, these products of excellence are selected by a jury of specialists, chaired by Rémy LUCAS, food psychosociologist and specialist in culinary trends…

The “Petite Pêche Cotière” LABEL ROUGE fish soup from AZAIS-POLITO, a Sétoise cannery, was selected by the Jury and presented throughout SIAL 2010 in a showcase of 50 hand-picked products representing the jewels in the crown of French gourmet products ….
